Education Dynamics is seeking a creative, passionate and tech-savvy Site Optimization Manager with a love for all things digital, to analyze and then work with other team members to optimize specific micro user flows  within all of the company’s sites including eLearners.com, EarnMyDegree.com & EducationConnection.com. The ideal candidate will be an extremely creative, organized, detail-obsessed, self-starter with a passion for analytics, merchandising and product development.


Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Develop an understanding of the higher education market’s needs in order to understand user actions within our sites
  • Use Google Analytics to  analyze website  KPIs  (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually and ad hoc)
  • Work with analytics package (Google) to monitor macro and micro visitor trends & analyze those trends to deduce causality or to get ahead of an issue
  • Use information proactively to inform day-to-day strategy (promotion or content changes), as well as generate user experience recommendations and improvements to the sites
  • Work with the Product Managers, Editorial team and SEO team to identify content pages are not bringing in / retaining traffic and work to optimize those pages
  • Support the Product Managers in setting up and monitoring page level A/B & Multi Variate tests utilizing  Optimizely. Work with the Product Managers to roll out changes
  • Work with the Product Managers to recommend and implement additional web analytics software such as KISS metrics & Clicktale
  • Maintain singular strategic implementation of web analytics across all properties
  • Run periodic competitive analysis of other sites. Work with Product Managers to determine if the results of that analysis should drive change within our own sites
Qualifications:
 
  • 3+ years experience working with digital analytics packages, with an understanding of technical requirements and limitations  - Google Analytics is preferred
  • Working knowledge of A/B testing methodology and web technology (HTML, CSS, Javascript, URL structures, etc).
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work seamlessly with a cross-functional team of analysts, technologists, marketers and product managers
  • Must be effective in working both independently and in a team setting
  • Enthusiastic, passionate self-starter
  • BA/BS or equivalent required
